Hello there,
I am a statistician by profession. I moved to New York after finishing my PhD from a reputed US university last year. Prior to that I obtained my Bachelors and Masters in Statistics from ISI, Kolkata.

When I'm not working, I like to watch a nice movie, hear some music, read a book or catch up with friends. I love crisp sunny days which, I think, are perfect for long (not too long!) drives or a walk in the park! I am a bit shy to start with but with a little bit of encouragement, do find myself enjoying great conversations or who knows -- maybe even get on a roller coaster! :-)

I'm looking for someone who is honest, caring and cheerful, but most importantly a friend whom I can admire so much that I can spend my life with!

I was born and raised in Kolkata, India. My father is working in the public sector and my mother is a homemaker. My only sister is going to college in Kolkata.
