Very new to this venue of meeting people, so I'm holding my breath! Here's my attempt at describing myself in the allotted characters...

I like to think I'm well rounded and have my feet on the ground. I'm genuine, fiercely loyal, piercingly sarcastic, pretty outgoing, I have a lot to say but try to be a good listener simultaneously. I also like to think I'm super funny and definitely need wit in a partner!

I focus on environmental and energy issues and currently work in air quality planning. I'm passionate about my work and thrive on my involvement with community, humanitarian and political issues and events. I was born in the UK and grew up and went to undergrad in the great state of Texas, Hook 'Em Horns! I moved to Denver about three years ago to pursue my graduate studies and fell in love with the city and surroundings and have been living and working here ever since. You can find me walking in City Park, eating at the newest neighborhood restaurant, working downtown, skimming the periodicals at Tattered Cover, at a show at the HiDive or sipping on a microbrew at Vine Street Pub. I love being outdoors and try to take advantage of the mountains and parks as much as possible. I love to travel - both in the US and abroad. And I love love love the movies and live music.

I think laughter, trust, and communication are essential in a relationship. I dig compassion, great energy, confidence, a sense of humor, someone who is outgoing, ambitious and conscious of the world around them. Someone I can learn from and who can learn from me. Someone who is passionate about their work and interests. Someone I can spend the rest of my life doing everything and nothing with. And someone who can keep me on my toes!
