Just to give you a bit of background: I was born and raised in the States, but have spent a few years living abroad, completing my MSc in London, UK. I am the type of person that can typically strike up a conversation with just about anyone, or so it seems. I really thrive on connecting with all types of people and exploring diverse cultures. Pairing that with the nature of what my work has been, I've been fortunate to have traveled to various parts of the world -- but honestly, there is still so much more to see and I look forward to experiencing more of that with a partner in the future.
As for my career, I shifted my focus from biomedical engineering to international health. Since 2011, I have been working on a women's health project based in the southern part of India. Currently, I am working on this project remote from the US with the occasional work trips abroad. While the past few years have been quite an opportunity, I... more have settled back in the US and plan on pursuing opportunities closer to home. At this stage in life, I look forward to starting the next chapter of my life with the right person and am open to the idea of relocating.
Two of the most important areas in my life, outside of work, are my family and personal development. The latter simply pertains to maintaining a reasonably healthy lifestyle, taking the time to appreciate the bigger picture in life, and doing what we can to make the most of life for both ourselves and others. And without the former, I wouldn't be the person I am today -- I am grateful for their love, care, and support.
Hope to meet someone with a complementary mindset, who has grown up or spent a considerable amount of time in the West. I value honesty, reliability, and a good heart above all else, and look to find these in a partner as well. It would also be great to find someone who can genuinely make me laugh and has been exposed to (or interested in) international work or travel.
At the end of the day, I am looking to meet someone who I can really connect with and enjoy spending my time with -- whether it's staying in and cooking a meal together, going out on the town, or exploring far off places with each other. Simply put, I hope to find an affectionate partner who would also be one of my closest friends. A personality striking a balance between enjoying the simple everyday things in life while also being open to fun and adventure would be the ideal.
If this initial note appeals to you, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks, and all the best with your search.
