While I was born and raised in Bombay and have continued to work out of the city until now, I'm a traveller at heart and a nature-lover to boot. So love to escape the crowds whenever I can manage. I have been part of the Indian media for the past eight years. As a trained broadcast journalist, I have worked with leading TV Broadcasters like CNBC-TV18, CNN-IBN and Bloomberg-TV. I later moved on to work with movie broadcasters like UTV-Movies even going on to head their promotions team. While I have thoroughly enjoyed my stint as a story-teller so far, I'm keen on exploring my interests beyond the realm of the media.
I am ambitious when it comes to my career but am just as happy to drop everything and go backpacking. As expected, I'm the travel-buff of our family. Also love heading to the hills whenever possible; I have been trekking, climbing since I was 15. I also train for marathons once in a way. It somewhat assuages my love... more for fresh air and the outdoors.
My taste in music is eclectic to say the least. I hoard books much to the dismay of my mother. I'm also a foodie, love pets and my interests range from art and design to social entrepreneurship!
My mom and sister are my support systems in more ways than one. We have our disagreements but are always there for each other.
My family, in that sense, comes first in my life. They help me dream yet keep me grounded. I also have a wonderful set of friends who too bring a whole lot of laughter, fun and moments of introspection into my life.
I enjoy being able to add value to the lives of people around me, in whatever way possible. I would like to think, I'm getting better at it.
This is just a small part of who I am. If interested, do holler to say hello! We can take it from there.
P.S: Currently I am in Chennai having dropped everything to go back to academia, as a student of the arts. Just FYI.
