I used to think dating was easy. As easy as baking a pie. If you get the ingredients, measurements and the timing right, you would end up with the most delicious looking, mouth wateringly scrumptious pie. My personal favourite these days - banoffee pie. God knows I can't bake if you put a gun to my head! Point being, it hasn't been easy. Not for me. And there are very valid reasons for that. I swear I don't have 3 eyes. Notice how I say reasonS. There is more than one. Again it has nothing to do with my looks. I look perfectly normal :/
I think I know what I'm looking for but I've wisened up to realize you cant always get what you want. That's also my favourite Rolling Stones song. So now I'm in the process of setting my priorities right.
I'm an animal lover but also love my meat. Which probably means I'm a hypocrite. This isn't helping. Moving on. I love being outdoors and being physically active. I also like staying in, cooking, with a bottle of wine and watching a TV or an interesting movie. My taste in TV and movies is quite sinister. Eh..moving on. I'm opinionated but steer clear of judgement. What turns me on is wit, humour and intelligence. Probably the case with most women out there. And I'm prepared for the showdown. I do have body combat skills.
We're all flawed and that gives us hope to work towards something. I'm full of imperfections, some I'm working on fixing and some I cannot. When you meet me and get to know me, you will see them just as I will see yours. And maybe we get together, maybe we don't. If we don't, I'll cut myself a big slice of the banoffee pie that's lying in the fridge. If we do, I'll cut you a slice too.
