"Spicy and Sweet", lol.. Ah, seriously though, I am a graduate (doctoral) student, focused on sustainable architecture, and have completed bachelors and masters degrees in architecture, landscape arch. and urban design. So I guess you could say that I constantly find myself teetering between two extremes: frustration and agonizing all-nighters spent slaving over the drawing board/computer in vain.. to intense fulfillment and excitement that lets me transcend the joys of everyday living.
Music is one of my greatest passions, and I have been trained in classical music while growing up in India. It's something I really cannot imagine living without.. When it comes to listening though, I enjoy all kinds, both traditional and contemporary (particularly jazz, classical, rock, & pop). Also, I love to sing (recently begun to record and train my vocal chords again after a long hiatus), read (anything really, except... more perhaps trashy magazines and sports biographies), swim, cook, hike, & play outdoor games. Some of my volunteering time is spent with animals, just because it's amazing to be with them and they are just so wonderfully awesome! Oh, and I adore any activity by the water.. or just lazing by the beach sounds completely idyllic and would be my idea of the perfect way to hang out.
If you should try and spot me: I will be the friendly girl in casual clothing, working hard to meet deadlines, or deeply engrossed in some random thought or in some interesting book/movie, or singing or humming a tune, or sometimes.. the cute extrovert with an engaging smile (so I've been told) and with plenty to talk about.
Most importantly.. I love to laugh, and adore people who share that sentiment. I have always appreciated the challenge of venturing along "the road not taken", and this looks to be one of those paths.
So, although I am not looking for "Mr. Perfect", I believe that it will be interesting to chance upon "Mr. Perfect-for-me". And if we are right for each other, I hope that we meet soon.
Um, you know how sometimes, you read something that is just the exact way you were thinking about it..?? here are some thoughts that I could relate to, right away.. and I think that this write-up is totally where I am:
