I'd like to think of myself as a fun loving person. I enjoy all the small little things in life, like driving in the rain, humming to my favourite song when it plays on radio, talking on the phone for ages with friends....you get the drift. I'm an extrovert - I can pick up a conversation with anyone. So yes, I'm a good talker. But hey, I listen too. I love being around people and I enjoy the company of those who have something new and exciting to talk about. I like trying my hand at new stuff. Currently, it is photography. The others in the list are Carnatic vocals, baking, crochet, swimming, salsa etc. I would love to travel, though I haven't had much opportunity yet.
Even though I have double masters in finance, I have made a conscious choice of being in the education industry. Having studied in some of the best institutions in Tamil Nadu, I feel it's only fair that I do my bit for the... more society. I've been teaching and administrating different schools in Tamil Nadu and now in Bangalore.. I see this as a learning journey, so that whenever I am able to start my own school(s), I will be well prepared.
What am I looking for:
I don't have any preset picture of what I am looking for. I want to be accepted the way I am, just the way I am prepared to do the same. I do accept that marriage is about two families coming together but at the end of the day, it is about the two main people involved. If they have a good understanding and ability to see each other as one, there is nothing like it.
I believe that when shared, joy is doubled. There is so much to life that we all have to see and experience. And it's made even more special when you are with that someone who really understands how you feel. (You don't need to see it the way I do, just understanding how I feel will do.) Again, shared sorrow is halved. There is nothing like having someone there for you, who may not be able to solve all your problems but will definitely give you the moral support to get through it. And that is exactly what I am looking for - a true companion. For life.
