I like the famous line from the film Forrest Gump that goes “Life is like a box of chocolates…. You never know which one you’re gonna get…” so even if I occasionally happen to get given a mint crème, a flavour I absolutely abhor, I take it with panache… hoping that the next one life will hand me will be an éclair!
From the above bit of prose, I guess by now u must have gathered that I’m a die-hard optimist. I’m always cheerful, as I believe brooding does not solve any problems. Being easy to get along with, hassle –free and a good listener all keep me true to being the Scorpio that I am. I get along with all kinds of people except those who give off negative vibes. I am honest and I value that quality in others. Although I don’t consider myself to be judgmental of people, I do gauge a relationship by the comfort level I share with a person.
I love to read and listen to music and watch movies. I also love to cook and I admire those who are well-spoken and well-written. I see myself as being a perfect blend of traditional values and a contemporary outlook on life.
My personal belief system is one based on the notion that there is only one God and that God resides within you. I definitely believe in God and prayer, but more in a spiritual sense than a religious one. I underwent a kidney transplant three years back which has re affirmed my faith in Him and I thank god for helping me lead a normal life, where I can pursue my career and have all the hopes and aspirations just like everybody else.
Education-wise, I have completed my BA in Psychology, dabbled in the tourism industry for a while. I am currently pursuing my PG in Human Resources from Symbiosis, Pune. I am presently working as a Team Leader - Business Development and Talent Acquisition with a Management Consultancy called Right Match Global.
Well that’s as much as I’d like to say about myself for the time-being… in a fairly- large-sized nutshell. Looking for a well settled, caring and understanding life partner, lucky enough to have me in his life!!
