This part is always difficult as I'm terrible at writing about myself. I never know what to say without sounding pretentious.. Well here goes, I'm 30 years old.

As for interests and past times - they're pretty basic; eating, sleeping and television are my only vices - hardly enticing in any sense, but its true! My preferences in art, literature and film is rather eclectic, ranging from super
hero movies to performances of Shakespeare where possible. I'm also a keen follower of politics and current affairs, at the moment the American election campaign is quite exciting. Crikey, I'm not doing myself any favours here! To remedy this, I should say, that amongst other things, I enjoy, like everyone, spending time with family and going out with friends. Oh and of course shopping!

I recently learnt how to sew, so when I get the chance I do a spot of sewing, which is handy considering the impending gloom of the credit crunch we're all
told about.

This is super duper cheesy, so take it with a pinch of salt, if not a bucket
load... I would describe myself as a straight forward, down to earth kind of
person with a positive outlook on life. Others might say I'm fun, easy going,
caring and such like, that I have an irreverant sense of humour and that I laugh
alot- though I dont think that's a bad thing.

What am I looking for? I suppose Prince Charming or even Mr Darcy would be nice!
More seriously or more realistically, Id like to find someone who is ideally of
Bangladeshi origin, who is fun, intelligent, aspirational and with a good
balance of east/west values. I could go on and on, but it would be at risk of
sounding like ordering something out of a catalogue. I guess you know you've met
the right person when indeed you do.

I should state that I am serious about the prospect of marriage in the near
future, thus interest from those of you that are likewise contemplating the same
would be appreciated.
