I suspect I have already placed my future better half on a high pedestal, making matters harder for any potential candidates. I would like her to be someone special, with her own dreams, ambitions and perhaps most importantly, her own views and opinions.
I would like my partner to have a career of her own. I would like to say that this is to ensure that she stays out of my hair, but jokes aside, I think having a career will allow her to find a means to express herself. I don't expect everything to line up perfectly as my spouse and I go about our lives, but I think that with a little understanding, and just a tad of fighting, we should be able to manage to work things out as we go along!
I spent most of my formative years in Bombay and Bangalore. Upon completion of my schooling, I chose to pursue my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering followed by a master's degree in mechanical engineering in the US. Since the completion of my master's degree a little more than two years ago, I have been working in the field of diesel engine research. I also recently started with my MBA course. I get to learn new things and keep myself busy and maybe even use it to some benefit down the line!
In addition to my professional interests, I like to read, and occasionally, write a little too. I also like to travel, though my choice of travel destinations can be fairly eclectic at times. But considering that my most unconventional vacations have also been the most fun, I doubt I will be changing my ways any time soon! I also like programming and motorsports and actively pursue both.
I intend to settle down in India eventually, but I am currently immobile due to the MBA course. In any case, this is a flexible issue and I expect to work this out with my future spouse based on her interests and career.
