From time to time, you have to go beyond your comfort zone to try new things and see what happens from it. I think we've all come here with a common goal, to meet someone who shares the same culture and values. As time as gone by, I have realized that those two things are very important to me, followed by my family, friends, career and education.

I'm sure you're in the same situation, that when you filled out your profile, it was pretty generic and it didn't allow you really introduce yourself. There's alot more to me than the simple criteria it takes to build your profile.

I work for the federal government here in Ottawa in a very exciting department and position, while teaching politics and public administration at the college level. I am very active in the community and I devote alot of time to causes I believe in.

I come from mixed religious background, of both Hindu and Christian and I have been raised to believe and appreciate what both have to offer in shaping your life.

I have a great family with an older sister. We all live here in Ottawa, with most of our extended family in Toronto, New York and Guyana. With family all over, I have had the opportunity to travel to some great places and I look forward to seeing more and more of the world.

I am very forunate to have a great group of friends to enjoy some of the most memorable moments and laughs with in life, but sometimes you have to go beyond that and look for that special someone, and perhaps that is where you come in.
