    • Assalamualaikum, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to my sister Azizun Nessa and our family. In Bangladesh our family originated from a Talukdar background; however, since my fathers generation we have not been using this title with our name. Our family consists of 2 brothers and 4 sisters all of whom are married with children, except Azizun who is the youngest sibling. We are a religious family, all the women including Azizun wear hijab and jilbab, my 2 brothers are also highly practicing Muslims who regularly go to the mosque, and actively take part in tafsir circles. As a family we all enjoy each others company, and so we make every effort to meet at least once every 2 weeks at mums house.

      Now I would like to tell you some basic information about my sister, Azizun. I would describe Azizun as family orientated person, who takes great care in maintaining strong and peaceful relations with all her close family and friends. She is currently a full-time PhD student, and she is expecting to complete her Doctorate degree by the end October 2013 InshaAllah. Azizun is an Islamic girl who likes to gain knowledge by reading Islamic books, and in the past she has also attended tajweed classes in order to improve her Qur'aanic reading. My sister has also been fortunate enough to travel around the world, which is something she enjoys doing very much. To this date she had visited Spain, Germany, Kenya, Libya, Czech Republic and most recently the USA. Some of Azizun's hobbies include reading novels, travelling, watching movies, TV documentaries, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

      At home Azizun is highly conscious of her domestic duties, and she always does more than her fair share of household chores. Our mother is an elderly woman and we have a fairly large family, which means lots of cooking and cleaning, especially when everyone gets together but Alhamdulilah Azizun is very good at entertaining the whole family, she mainly enjoys cooking traditional Bengali food and Italian pastas.

      As a family we are looking for someone who is a fully practicing Bengali Muslim, who has studied at least up to a Degree level in the UK. This candidate should also be settled in the UK as a British Citizen. Please do contact us if you feel that Azizun is a good match for you, and only if you are serious about marriage.
