In her own words:
I did two BS degrees in Neuropsychology and Biobehavioral Health and two minors in Biology and Human Development and Family Studies. I recently completed a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education and currently work as a teacher, which is really rewarding and takes a lot of patience. As my mom mentioned, I was a Bharatanatyam dancer and taught classes in the area as well. I recently wrote a novel, which is my current challenge to pursue. I'm ambitious and driven--I really believe that if you're passionate about something, you should pursue it and become knowledgeable in it. I've also been very lucky to have a family that keeps me grounded and always laughing. It's my hope that I can meet someone whose family I can feel a special part of and who can feel comfortable with mine as well. I really value tradition and culture; in addition to dancing, I love to learn about culture and religion. I've been very lucky to have family members who are willing to teach me everything they know (which is a LOT! I'll probably never quite catch up) so that I can carry on the culture despite living in the US. I don't drink or eat meat so vegetarianism is a must. I am open-minded, creative, kind of silly, an avid reader and traveler, and I love college football so I hope the person meant for me can handle Saturdays watching the big game. :)
