My friend made up my profile because I didn't think I would be interested in doing something like this. But I have to say, after getting notifications in my e-mail everyday, it made me change my mind enough to come here and update at least the basic information.
I came to US in 2010 to pursue my masters, mostly because it was my papa's dream that I do so. But after coming here, I liked it a lot and I am not planning to go back in near future, but I am open to the thought of going back to India in the late 40s.
I have moderate values about tradition. I am fairly open-minded person, but I do possess family values. Right now the most important people in my life are my brother and my friends. I want a family who can accept me like one of them.
I am shy at first, but once you get to know me I am lively person as per my friends. I like reading and watching romantic stuff- I think we have enough of sadness in real life without pursuing it in the entertainment we choose. I also like listening to music of various kind ranging from gazals to pop and singing (I am more kind of a bathroom singer). I haven't traveled much but I want to do a euro trip someday. I like cooking when it suits myself. I like helping people. I like to remember small details and then use them to help someone or lift someone's mood. And I think that small things like this matter a lot.
I would like to hear from a guy who is passionate about his family and the work he's doing. I think that education is in the top 5 list of qualities I would like to see in my life-partner but it keeps changing the rank. I would like someone who is open-minded and has a good sense of humor. Much as it pains me to say, I still see guys around who thinks that a girl should not be opinionated. If you think that you can be counted in that category, please forgive me. Thanks for taking the time to read through this. I am sure I'll be flattered to get an interest.
