    • Greetings.
      I'm a Mechanical Engineer from BIT, Mesra and presently working as DGM in a Maharatna public sector enterprise. We are looking for a suitable alliance for our elder daughter. Ours is a 6-member family based in New Delhi. My wife is a postgraduate from Delhi University and teaches Mathematics in a renowned public school. We have two daughters. Our elder daughter in question, is currently pursuing PhD in Molecular Biology from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. She will be completing the course in next few months (expected by July 2013). She did her graduation B. Sc (Honors) in Microbiology from University of Delhi in 2007. She finished her schooling in 2004 from Bal Bharti Public School, New Delhi. Her younger sister is pursing B. Tech from DTU (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering). Her grandfather is a retired engineer from Tata Motors and grandmother is a pious lady and a homemaker. As a family we are progressive in thinking while valuing Indian culture and tradition.
      Our daughter will be looking for a research job in few months. She has enough career prospects and can work in both India and abroad. She is open to stay and work in India but prefers working for next couple of years in US or UK. She is fond of music and dance. She has learnt Latin dance and vocal music. She has great culinary and creative skills. She loves cooking, painting, making rangoli as well as mehendi patterns. She likes visiting new places, reading novels and watching movies. She plays badminton, and knows swimming and driving. She is not a sports fan but appreciates and follows some of them. While staying away from home, she has learnt to manage and take care of the household chores. She is career oriented but values family as the highest priority over professional responsibilities. She is affectionate, caring, adjusting and respects her elders. She will give her best to balance the work and family life.
      We are looking for a well educated boy from a cultured and respectable family. He should be loving, caring, responsible and trustworthy. He should respect his elders. We don't expect him to have same interests and priorities as our daughter, but he should be understanding, adjusting and open minded to treat his partner equally.
      We believe that marriage is a bond between two families rather than just two persons.
