    • Our daughter Soumali, is currently living and working in Vancouver, BC (Canada). She was born and raised in a nuclear, modern Bengali family in Mumbai, India. Me and my wife have raised her in an environment which places importance to education in addition to the rich culture and heritage that our Indian arts, music and history offer. As a result, Soumali has grown to be a well-rounded personality with the knack to appreciate good music, fine cuisine and a good conversation.

      Of her many interests, she would rate travelling as her biggest motivation. She is extremely curious and interested to visit new places and absorb, learn and experience the world over her lifetime. Over the last few years she has visited landmarks of Canada, USA, Mexico in addition to parts of Europe and SE Asia. Apart from travelling, in her spare time she learns music (Violin), Salsa and a new language (German). She does enjoy live music and going out to concerts and plays. She also lives an active lifestyle through sports, gym, outdoor activities and yoga. That said, she is a career focused individual, who realizes the importance of leading a balanced lifestyle which includes having a good standard of living in a good city and a good career.

      Currently she is working for one of the Top 4 consulting firms in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada. However, her professional skill sets gives her the flexibility to relocate to any part of the globe and re-base her professional life. She is keen to live and settle in a major city which gives her and her to-be family an excellent platform to prosper and lead a well-rounded balanced life.

      Family Information:
      We are a family of four- myself, my wife, daughter and son. After engineering I came down to Mumbai to start my working life and subsequently got settled down here. I worked in L&T for 24 years. But still, we are closely connected to Kolkata and keep travelling to Kolkata quite often. We are lucky to have a large and loving extended family in Kolkata and other metro cities. We are liberal with progressive outlook and do value art and culture.My wife is an accomplished singer of Hindustani classical and all types of Bengali songs. She pursues her passion for music religiously.My son is two years younger to my daughter.He is an engineering graduate and is now working as a senior executive in Hindustan Unilever (HUL) in Mumbai.
