I am an educated and cultured girl with almost all the positive nuances of the modern and old worlds, holding a 1st class Post-Graduate degree in English Literature and a professional degree of B.Ed. as well ; currently, I am doing an interdisciplinary course at BHU. Before this, I was working as a Contractual Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), English at "KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA" and further interested in completing my Ph.D. and taking up a viable teaching or administrative job if situations permit. Here, I would like to clarify that I have always loved studying and learning as these are the things that define who I am and hence have always enjoyed them. And that's the very reason it becomes all the more important to further clarify that I haven't pursued them just for the sake of securing a job but to become an evolved creature so that I may be of better service to everyone around me, including my own self.
Today, in this highly commercialized world, where even... more relationships have become lifetime business transactions and under the cover of feminism, women's liberation and emancipation, and desire and demand for "so-called" high-cost living standards and to a certain extent, for show-offishness, people are demanding for an earning bride, I am not ready to buy the idea whole-heartedly, as working after marriage has never been on my wish list or priority, as already stated - I haven't studied solely for that. But in case, God forbid, any real financial crisis arises in my would-be family demanding my financial assistance, I am qualified and capable enough to land a good teaching job. I always knew that my home and hearth are my true calling and hence would love to use my education and knowledge to raise and run a well-nurtured, well-educated and well-cultured family.
So, THOUGH I HAVE WORKED AND CAPABLE OF WORKING, PEOPLE STRICTLY HUNTING FOR A WORKING GIRL SHOULD AVOID CONTACTING, as I am in search of a person and his family who want a wife and a daughter respectively, and are not money mongers.
I am a cheerful, friendly and happy-go-lucky kind of girl, very compassionate and emotional; but at the same time, responsible, understanding and sincere as well, and have a logical and pragmatic approach towards life and people around me. In one sentence, I would describe myself as a valley where you will hear the echo of the kind of sound you make.
Through this matrimonial site, I am in search of my soul mate - my best friend for lifetime who would love and respect me for the person I am and with whom, I can share all my woes and joys and vice-versa.
ABOUT MY FAMILY :
I have fairly real minded parents as they have always been caring but at the same time, have also given me the freedom to be myself and go out and explore the world, they are more of friends to me than just being my parents or caretakers.
My father is Senior Manager at a well-known PSU (nationalised) Bank, currently posted at Varanasi. He is a hard-working, compassionate, caring, self-made man and greatly spiritual; I really admire and adore my father for that and feel proud to be his daughter. I have tried to imbibe these qualities from my father and would like my would-be husband to have these qualities as well. My mother is a homemaker and one of my best friends.
I am the eldest child of my family and then I have a sister, younger than me and two brothers younger than her. Both of my brothers are studying engineering and are in other cities. I am staying in the holy city of Varanasi along with my parents.
Then, I also have a fantastic friends' circle, comprising individuals from both the genders, majority of whom are my school-friends. I feel blessed and greatly grateful to God for bestowing me with such caring and wonderful friends.
PARTNER EXPECTATIONS :
My ideal match would be a loving, caring, romantic and intellectual man who would love and respect me for who and what I am i.e the person I am, and how I apply my mind and not some make-up. Since I am a feminist, I would want my would-be man to have great respect for womankind.
He should be a hard-working, compassionate, responsible, sincere and self-made individual with a burning desire to excel in life so that I may be able to respect him; for I feel that a woman needs to respect her husband so that others may also be able to respect him, for any man who is not respected by his wife, is also not respected by others.
I firmly believe that a man-wife relationship is completely different from all other relationships as it completes both the individuals involved, in all the respects. Precisely, I would want my would-be husband to be my best friend.
