In their own words
  • Hey. Thanks for taking the time out to review my profile. I currently work as a Clinical Trials Monitor and
    Manager. I love what I do. When I am not busy saving the world, I spend time with family and friends. Simple by nature, adaptable and am in a good mood 90% of the time. I am known to speak my mind, like to try new things and can bake the most delicious raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes in the world (as long as the instructions are to simply add eggs, milk, butter and water!).

    I am hoping to meet someone who is smart, warm-hearted and positive, up for trips to see Cirque du Soleil in
    Los Angeles and down with getting muddy with quad biking. I want to be myself around him (and vice versa). He would be happy to cuddle up with a cup of coffee or be ready to go for a long walk or try Yoga. I do not like untidiness/ clutter so hope he feels the same way.

    A few more things about me:

    Inspiration: My mum...she means everything to me.

    Favourite colour: Blue, especially aqua, royal and peacock blue. Also a fan of black, purple and magenta.

    Biggest attraction in a guy: Other than the list above, simplicity.

    Love: I am not a fan of the phrase, love at first sight. There may be an initial physical attraction but I believe love develops over time, as does respect and understanding, all of which are key for a successful marriage.

    Pets: Would not mind providing a home to a puppy Labrador or Dalmatian.

    Most valuable possession: At the moment, a box of Kleenex!

    Nickname: Is it really necessary?

    Statement that changed my perception of life: There were two statements actually;
    (i) When something goes terribly wrong: There will always be someone who is suffering more than you so one should handle the situation maturely and with a positive mind.
    (ii) When something goes wonderfully right and one needs to stay grounded: There will always be someone better off than you so one should drop the ego, appreciate what they have and work hard to get what they want. Hard work does pay off.

    Question for you: Did I pass the interview? If so, please get in touch soon. I look forward to round two!
