Thanks for taking the time to read through my profile. A little background info first... I have lived in Toronto my entire life with my parents and siblings. I obtained my BSc and have been working as a therapist with children ever since. I am interested in obtaining my Masters in the near future.

While I am not particularly outgoing and social, I love the time I spend with my family and close friends. I've never been into clubbing or partying but love to go out, try new places and things. I go to the gym regularly and it is important that my partner is equally active and concerned about his physical health. It'd be nice to have someone to work out with for a change.. and the encouragement wouldn't hurt either.

I have only been to Pakistan once but I have an appreciation for desi culture and enjoy the food, clothing and music. That being said, I've grown up in Canada and enjoy experiencing the different cultures here. I come from a family that is conservative and progressive at the same time. While my parents were fairly strict with me as a child, they also gave me the chance to make my own decisions and taught me how to be accepting and understanding. I have little tolerance for people who are closed-minded or hateful (especially when it concerns their ideas about people or other religions, races or cultures).

I'm a pretty quiet person so I love to be around people who are talkative and can carry a conversation.... helps me out a bit. I'm very protective (but not possessive) of the people of love. I love children (probably why I've ended up working with them). I am very laid back about most things... but also very concerned and involved where I need to be.

I am very close to my family and have always imagined to be married to someone who loves them and respects them as much as I do. I've also always wanted to be close to my spouse's family and have them treat me as their own. My father is retired and my mother works part-time. I have an older brother, a younger brother and a younger sister.
